Life Lesson: Are You Hiring?

Hello friends,

I am in need of a new job, I don't want just any job though, I want my dream job. Ever since I started my classes, I've always kept my future in mind. I'm not exactly sure where I'll be in five years, but I'm pretty sure that I'll be doing something great -- hopefully.

I switched again, because the old school I was at was not

Life Lesson: BOYYY! I Need to Vent

Hello friends,

I know I've been a lazy friend these past few weeks but I have a good reason; adulting has gotten crazy for me.

These past few... I don't know how long it's been, but it's been something. I got a new phone and I accidentally broke. I was so upset but it was my fault, so I couldn't be too mad. Got my screen fixed, paid about  $250 for and just to make matters worse school wasn't going all too good.

I don't know why I have such a terrible time with school, and this time it's not my classmates, it's the staff! How is it you ask someone a question and they always push you off to someone else? You're asking questions to better yourself and no one seems to know the answer, it's pretty annoying. For an example, my advisor, she was new this semester but said she was getting help with what she didn't know.

Anything that I asked this women, she would always push me off to go to that department or wouldn't give me an answer until I approached her about it. I don't have a problem going and asking questions but these were simple questions like; is this a degree or a course? Or I want to take a summer class so I can be a head next semester, and she was never able to answer me questions.

I had approach her though because the summer class that I supposedly had a seat for, almost didn't let me in the program. On the other hand though, I'm happy to announce that I passed my remedial's and now am eligible to take credited classes! So that's one plus, I need to take a break though. I have to work in a few so I'll keep you guys posted. Until next time ❤

With Love & Sweetness,

Life Lesson: Making Career Decisions

jumpe

Hello Friends,

I've had one hell of a week, trying to figure out my future, as well as thinking of a career. I'm just scared to commit to something and then when I want to switch I'll have to to back to school. I guess my real fear is not being happy. I always wanted to work with animals when I was younger and now that I'm allergic, that dream is killed. I just don't want that to happen again.

When talking to peers or even older people I try to talk to them about how they got into their line of work, whether it was by accident, something they always knew they wanted to do or something that was easy to move up in, they had at least some form of plan. For instance, my mother, she worked in the law enforcement field for a while now. It's not something that she wanted to necessarily do, but she got a decent paycheck and met a lot of people

Life Lesson: I'm Too Tired

Stuart Miles

Hello Friends,

I'm not going to lie, I've been slacking with my blogging: I've been moving, going to school, working. It's real out here; being an adult is no joke, honestly. I have been reading and thinking of new content, I just haven't had anytime to sit and edit. Side Note;

Life Lesson: Apartment Hunting

sira anamwong
Hello friends,

These past few days have been so stressful, like I told you in my other post, My Landlord Has Dementia, we've finally saved up enough money to move. The only thing is, in the last 6 months we spent at this place, the cost in apartments went up. What use to be $1,200 for a one bedroom, now is $1,450. Even studios went up in price, it's stressful! Who has that kind of money, I wish that I was at a point in my life where money didn't really

Life Lesson: How to Cure Writer's Block

Hello Friends,

Lately I've been suffering from writers block, usual it takes me a few hours to get over it. These past few weeks I just haven't been in the mood to blog, I don't know if it's because of the views or if it's because now that I'm in school, I just don't have time for it. I went online and did some research and found this app that gives you prompts so you can get out of your writers block. I didn't think it would work, until I came across this prompt:

Prompt #1: You are sitting on a park bench when someone shouts your name.

I thought it would be cool to actually post this prompt because the story started to get good. Of course I had to share it with you guys, so here it goes:
